The second #WeAreAllWomen Twitter chat occurred on November 4, 2014. The topic was “Violence Against Women,” because that was the most requested topic during the first chat. We had participants from across the U.S. and Canada. Naina Khanna, executive director of Positive Women’s Network USA, and Lindsay McDaniel Mapp of National Network to End Domestic Violence joined the chat as experts.

Our acronym, TLBS (Trans, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Straight), evolved into TLBAS (A for Asexual) because #WeAreAllWomen is a movement for all women, we don’t want anyone to be excluded. This link was shared to educate the group on what it means to be asexual.

Many types of violence against women were tackled, including sexual assault, street harassment, and intimate partner violence. Rape culture was brought up, and ways to fight it were analyzed.
