The fifth #WeAreAllWomen twitter chat was on February 3, 2015. The topic was “Nontraditional Families,” which was suggested by the lovely and amazing Morénike Onaiwu. We had women from serodifferent couples, multiracial families, adoptive families, a choice mom, single moms, a transgender woman living with HIV who is married with kids, lesbian couples, child-free by choice women, and a woman who has her tribe as her family.
We all learned some amazing things about each other, including how families can be different but also want the same things: respect and love, to name two of them.
This was an amazing chat full of love and acceptance.
