D.C. Celebrates National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

NWGHAAD is an annual, nationwide observance that sheds light on the impact of HIV among women and girls. This is the 12th year the OWH, at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is leading the observance.

Healthy HIVE

Anxiety. Depression. Overwhelmed. Alone. Fearful.

These are some of the words that I have felt in the last couple of months while I have been sheltering in place. I imagine that I am not the only one who has experienced these emotions or feelings. A way that I have been able to find relief or accept these feelings has been through mindfulness meditation.
