Together with the Bay Area and North Coast AIDS Education and Training Centers (BANC AETC), HIVE hosted a provider training on HIV and safer conception. The training objectives were:
-List at least two safer conception resources for providers and people living with HIV.
-Describe two strategies to improve reproductive care for the trans community.
-Identify three biomedical HIV prevention options.

The training included speakers from HIVE, ZSFG?s Family HIV Clinic, ZSFG?s Ward 86, and the UCSF Center of Excellence for Transgender Health. A panel of people living with and affected by HIV shared their perspectives on and experiences with safer conception.

Approximately 65 frontline workers and clinicians from across the San Francisco Bay Area attended the training. Attendees traveled from: San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Martinez Sacramento, Salinas, Fairfield, and San Rafael.

Below we share recordings and slides from each session. We hope you find these helpful! Thank you helping us realize our vision of a world where people affected by HIV have safe pregnancies, reproductive autonomy, access to state-of-the-art health care, and enjoyable sex lives.
